ATLANTIC utilizes iHCFA a web-based claims processing system developed to
allow medical practitioners to submit Auto and Workers Compensation bills
directly through the web. ATLANTIC uses the HCFA-1500 format and the
requirements are based on evolving Medicare guidelines.
When the bill is considered “clean” ATLANTIC is able to Pre-Fund the claim
within 72-hours. iHCFA will not allow pre-funding of the bill if required
information is not provided or when the system determines inaccuracies based
on imbedded Carrier requirements. Providers who submit their claims directly
via iHCFA will know immediately if all information required to pay the claim
